Game 8

Ava played her last game with team Storm today, and she went out with a bang!  She has progressively gotten better every single game and today was absolutely wonderful to watch!  This was their 8th game and they won with 21 to 15!  This tied them for games won and lost.  During this game, Ava scored 14 points including 2 points at the buzzer!  It was so exciting for all of us to watch! For the season, she scored a total of  70 points!!!  We have enjoyed watching every minute of it!  It will be interesting to see if she continues enjoying playing, but I don't see her wanting to quit any time soon!  

They headed to Orange Leaf after the game and ended up comparing socks with each other...including both coaches! We were definitely a very colorful team for the season!

Pinewood Derby

Anytime Shawn is involved in the girls or Levi's derby racing, they place! He definitely seems to know how to make those cars go fast!  Levi participated in his first cub scout derby last weekend.  He wanted so badly to win a trophy and we kept trying to prepare him for that not to happen.  There were many other cars he was racing against.

Everyone stood against that row of chairs to watch them race.  (Lots of boy smells a very small area.  Ew.)

He placed 3rd in his division and he was SO proud!  Way to go Levi and Shawn!
