Success....for now

I may need to knock on wood, but I think I can officially say that Elle is potty trained!!! For a week and 2 days she has been wearing big girl panties at all times except nap time and bed time. She has been waking up dry most of the time from sleep which is a very good sign. I'm not quite ready though to let her wear panties to sleep in. I don't want to change the sheets that often! She loves wearing her panties and luckily a girl at church had a mound of Elle size panties that her daughter wore so she gave them to me. She has only had a very few accidents since starting this and she definitely doesn't like peeing on herself! I am so excited to be at this point although I know it will be short lived....back to diapers in about 15 weeks!

Fimin Pool

That's what Elle calls it. She and daddy went swimming together a few days ago and I had so much fun watching them splash around together. She is getting more comfortable in the water but still doesn't like it when her head goes under. I have taught her to blow out of her nose real hard when she comes back up to get all the water out. She has been practicing in the living room...not to pretty. Although the pool is only about 6 feet around, the true intent for getting it was not to please Elle. It is suspose to keep me submerged and somewhat cool as I enter the last phase of pregnancy. It's SO nice to be able to float in that pool with water up to my neck. I didn't get to enjoy that last pregnancy because of the season. Anyways, nothing new going on here. Just wanted to share a few photos from that day. Elle reminds me of a big fluffy cat that get's wet and goes from a 15 pounder to a 10 ouncer. She looks so little when she's in her bathing suit and her hair is wet.

Up and Running/Waddling

Okay, we have succumbed! We have a blog site too now. Maybe it will be useful for you and maybe it won't. We'll see. I just seem to have a lot of useless and somewhat amusing stories that I want to tell you, but don't want to take the time to call or email. They are usually just little funny things that happen throughout the day or week and sometimes it's just updates of what's happening with our work, Elle, or baby Ava. Either way enjoy! I hope to update very often so check this a lot or you'll be missing out big time!!!
