A Dozen Years

I feel like we have ALL been waiting for Ava's 12th birthday for years!!!  It doesn't help that she talks about her next birthday starting the day of her actual birthday.  This year, we decided to do something "simple" as in, not a big party because next year she will turn 13 on Friday the 13th and we have big plans. So she decided on Urban Air, a trampoline park in the area, followed by dinner at Mama Fu's and icecream at Baskin Robbins.
I know I'm getting to old for things like trampoline parks, but still I just can't keep from playing.  We all had such a fun time...but I seriously am getting to old for that.  Shawn and I hurt for days after!!!  The kids loved it though so all is right.

This was how I looked on most obstacles.

Mama Fu's was delicious and we ordered whatever our heart desired!  After that we headed to get some icecream which never disappoints.  We sang Happy Birthday to her which she kept asking us to singer quieter...which only made us get a little louder.  :)

Then we headed home for her most anticipated part...presents!  She loved what she got and now we can officially say our middle child is 12!
