Cousin Scotty is here which can only mean one thing....we are headed to camp tomorrow! In honor of Camp Eve, here are a few things I've learned over the years packing, and being gone for 2+ weeks for the past 12 years.
2. Never EVER turn off your A/C in Texas in the summer, for 2 weeks, because you think you'll save money. Your house can in fact get up to 99 degrees inside.
3. You can NOT in fact, overpack for being in the mountains.
4. Bring a credit/debit card in case of issues with #3.
5. Tacks, a hammer and tape are pretty much survival tools at camp.
6. Black sheets do wonders.
7. Make sure and empty every single trash in the house before leaving.
8. Make sure and check that all toilets have been flushed before leaving.
9. You will pack both flip flops and a winter jacket, and need both.
10. Unless you want hate mail from the post office, stop the mail.
Here's our address if you feel inclined to write!
