We were able to get the girls new bikes after having our garage sale a few weeks ago. They have been begging to ride them to school one day. Yesterday turned out to be great weather to let them ride. It's only about 1 mile from our driveway to the school so they didn't even have to leave any earlier than usual. The only hitch in the plans was that they had already fixed their hair and then remembered that they needed to wear a helmet. Do we ponytail and smush them, do we piggy tail low and hope they don't look too droopy afterwards? Do we leave it down and then it smooshes our hair even more?....such dilemmas! It's so hard looking good and dealing with these daily issues. Either way, they made it to school and then got to do it again at 3 o'clock.
And they're off!
