Since it takes about 12-14 hours to get to our vacation destination, we decided to break it into two days, plus we wanted to hang out with Chad and Lesley! For dinner they planned homemade pizza to make and homemade cookies for dessert. Elle was in heaven! She really wants to help in the kitchen. We had fun hanging out with them and though the pizza and cookies were good, the highlight of the evening was watching The Office Season Premiere with people who love it like we do.

As soon as we got to Chad and Lesley's house, we all had to try out Chad's electric drumset.

We couldn't believe how cheap the gas was in Lubbock. We filled up at this same place on the way home also and it was about 10 cents cheaper that when we took the picture 6 days earlier!
