Mikey and a surprise

Mikey has been making all kinds of appearances around our house, and the kids have loved finding him. He even showed up at our hotel in San Antonio which really threw the kids for a loop. This morning when they woke up and came downstairs, Mikey left his first message.....

In other news, this came in the mail for me today!  Can I just say that cute packaging is not overrated!!!  I was SO excited to see what I got!  And it did not disappoint!  My sweet wonderful friend Lauren, the one I visited in Tennessee back in October, had sent me something from my Amazon wishlist!  It was such a sweet gift, so unexpected and sentimental to boot, considering it was handmade and has our address for the first house we've bought!  :)  Here's the link, if you'd like one too!
