Little Artist

In the last month or so, Elle has really become interested in drawing and coloring. She liked it before but it's gone to a whole new level lately. During room time which last from about 1:30-4, on some days she will spend that entire time coloring in coloring books! She has also recently begun drawing pictures of events and scenes that take imagination! I am loving it of course. If there is one trait I hope that got passed on to her, it's the artist ability! Anyway, here's two of her latest works.

As you can see, the title is "Santa's Sack." There is a doll, a chair, a ball, and a dollhouse. And she wanted me to make sure and explain that the tab looking thing at the top of the bag was were Santa holds the bag.

This one is obvious...she has figured out how to draw hearts. She is in love with her new ability. There are hearts all over our driveway and she actually has figured out some artist and neat ways to color in her hearts although all of these are solid colors. She wanted you all to know that the red heart is her favorite.
