Seven Falls

After church Sunday, Shawn and I headed to Seven Falls in Colorado Springs.  It was the perfect little hike in a beautiful setting.

Our hike started near a beautiful stream.

Then...the stairs of doom.  225 stairs of doom to be exact.  I always think I'm more physically fit than I really am.  

After climbing all of those stairs....we had to come back down all of them.  Then we got smart and rode an elevator to another look out point that had a perfect view of the Seven Falls!

Worth all of those steps....which you can see if you zoom in on this picture...really gives perspective on how huge it is!
