Any Ideas?
I'm a bad mother today...Elle has watched TV non stop all day today. It is raining outside so we can't go out and play. It's too hard right now to take both girls to the mall or Walmart so we are stuck at the house. Any ideas on rainy day activities that aren't REALLY messy or overly involved?

Watching TV all day does not mean that you are bad mother. It is difficult to do all those rainy day activities when you are nursing. Just try to rest yourself.
TV, what is wrong with that. It rained all day here too and that is what we did. Don't be so hard on yourself.
I don't have kids but I do have students and it is a great way to make them sit still and be quiet. So while it might not be the most enriching activity in the world, sometimes it is a necessity.
of course you are not a bad mother...but what a/b letting elle "make" her own scrapbook - w/ safe tools of course. give her a few items, a corner to set up in, and an occuping/creative activity is born.
it's diff. than just drawing, and could be fun to see what she comes up w/.
also, my mom always let heather and i play school on inside days. we'd get all our dolls together and read to them, assign work, etc. we'd be the teacher.
